ADF Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 So which pick-up lines work, and which ones don't? My theory is that none of them really work. No guy every picked up a woman wholly on the strength of a pick-up line. He picked her up because before he ever opned his mouth, she had already looked him over and decided he was "hot" enough to pass muster. Or, at least he was hot enough to be worth talking to. From that point forward, all he had to do was avoid saying anything really crude, stupid, or insulting, and he was in. His pick-up line--whatever it was--had nothing to do with it. Am I wrong?
Pyro Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I think that both men and women have a minimal requirement on who is attractive and who isn't and as long as they are at that minimal requirement then they will get a chance to talk. You are right though. Pick-up lines alone do not work.
