We had plans to go to dinner one week and he lost his phone. He text me the next day after getting his phone back and said he was really sorry. We made plans to meet again a few days later but the night before the day we were going to meet he said he had to work. He said sorry and that he is not tryin to blow me off but stuff keeps coming up. So he said we can meet later this week. I asked him if he wants to see me and he said yes but I don't know if I should be worried or if he is just busy. Thoughts?

He cared to contact you every time, he didn't just stand you up and not shown up to a date. I will warn you, that if you keep asking him whether he wants to see you he may get tired of it.

Let him drop off the radar, don't pursue him or get in touch at all, and let him make the effort - and if he doesn't he wasn't worth having. He will respect you more if he can see immediately that he is risking losing you through his actions.
