furbaby Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I saw this guy on an online dating site and I sent him a message. We wrote back and forth a bit and he asked if I had a facebook. We started emailing on there and he added me as a friend. It turns out we have a few friends in common in real life. I looked at his posts and pics and stuff and he seems like a cool guy and it would appear that we have a lot in common. We were writing back and forth pretty frequently for a few days. In his last email he asked how I was going to go about starting a particular project (we're both artists so we were talking a lot about different projects we're working on), and I responded with a brief explanation and thought he'd respond, but he never did. That was a few days ago. I see that he is still active on facebook (he posted something vague about feeling depressed), but I'm a bit sad/confused that our conversation suddenly halted for no reason. I was thinking of writing to him and saying, "Hey, would you want to go to an art walk sometime?" He really seems like a neat guy and I don't run into a lot of people who I'm attracted to, otherwise I'd just let it go. But if he didn't respond, I figure he's not into me. Should I give it one more try, or just take a hint and leave him alone?
Mac91 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I'd say go for it... it certainly wouldn't hurt trying. Sometimes when people don't respond, it might've been a glitch on facebook or something. You'll never know until you try... unless there was like a death in his family or something, if he genuinely likes you, I think he'll agree. Btw, some guys find it hard to read girls... lol, would be best if girls were blunt, but most are not :S

Mac91 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I just don't want to be annoying or overbearing. Well you said the last time you talked was like a few days ago right? That's barely annoying lol... or maybe he's just waiting for you to contact him?
