jean-luc sisko Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Say you're browsing facebook at random, and you see a woman you think looks hot. is it out of place to send her a message, to say hi? I think a lot of people get creeped out when a stranger messages or send them a friend request, so would sending her a message make sense or seem right?
Cracker Jack Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Nah, I think it would creep her out. I know a few guys who've done it, but they never got any replies. I just think it's a bad idea.
mixwell Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Wow Cracker you seem a little pessimistic on the topic.. I think if you said something like like "Hey whats up ? I was browsing around on FB and saw your profile and you appear to be interesting etc" wouldn't creep her out.. You have to keep in mind though that attractive girls online most likely get messages a lot from douche bags so she has a natural filter on when receiving flirty messages and women can read the BS right away so yea..
mike1988 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I did that two weeks ago and ended up having sex with her a few days ago.
jen_r Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I've had a few random guys send me a message on FB and I never reply. I don't know these psychopaths. There are desperate girls on there though who might be into that type of thing...
Serenitynow Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Anyone that is "browsing" facebook is just cruising for a score. I dont care how you try to cover it up, thats all it is. The people you are contacting dont even have the intent on having strangers contact them. Its not a dating site where they expect to get emails. Its hilarious how people will try to justify their "creeper" habits and get the ok from the mainstream public.
Eve Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I think its creepy. I had to change my profile picture to a cute pic of an animal in the end because I was being approached by random men. WTF?.. I am married! Thankfully I worked out how to lock down my account to outsiders in the end. I didnt find it flattering to be part of a numbers game... ugh.. seriously weird. Take care, Eve xx
