I have a good friend who's a guy, and I really like him, but we agreed to just stay friends because we go to different colleges now (2hrs away). We're both really busy, and know that now isn't the best time to start a relationship. Anyway, Valentine's Day is coming up and I'm totally at a loss as to what I should do. Should I send him a "friends" Valentine Card (through snail mail), an e-card, or just ignore the day completely? I always send cards to my other friends (through snail mail), but I've never really had a good guy friend like this that I've felt this way about. They've always been either friends, without a chance of anything more ever happening, or boyfriends. In both cases, I could send Valentine cards without any problems. But, as you can probably tell by my confusing little story, I don't know what to do. We both agree that it is best for us to just be friends right now, so I don't want to do anything to make him feel pressured or like we're moving too fast. I also don't want him to take it the wrong way if I don't send him anything! I really do like this guy (maybe even love him), but I want to take things slow and continue to stay "just friends" until I know the time is right for us to take it to the next level.
