brainygirl Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I know I've done my share of complaining about the dating game. But I am forced to admit that even if my experience isn't perfect, it isn't terrible either. I have noticed that attitude plays a huge part in how successful I am with people. When I am in a "people annoy me" mood, even if I still "play nice" I get less positive results from all people than when I am in an honestly good mood. That being said here's my point: There are some very ugly attitudes and theories floating around on this board about women and dating in general. So my message to you negative guys (you know who you are): Get a better attitude. There is more to attracting women than being a jerk or a nice guy. There is more to choosing a partner than how she looks.
Author brainygirl Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Naming names is just rude, I'm hoping they'll wander in and reveal themselves.
Ross PK Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 So guys need to be 'happy, happy, happy' all the time? Also I think it would've helped if you'd have explained how we achieve this.
espec10001 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Well I really enjoy being positive with girls and laughing and doing things, but then you get accused of being gay for acting like this.
Els Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Negative guys? Where? Beats me! Searched through this entire forum and can't find 'em.
Serenitynow Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I'm hoping they'll wander in Hey everyone whats up. why did it just get quiet and everyone starin at me HAHA Like I said before I'm only like this on here. Its the same as having a trucker mouth, then switching to polite when children are around. I am simply voicing my opinion. I just tend to be VERY honest and not sugar coat anything. MOST of you are not used to brutal honesty, especially most women, so its not my fault you have an issue with it. And I'm not mad at anyone on here. Getting mad over the internet at someone is very childish. I may use caps but thats to emphasise a point. It's not because I'm yelling ( but I know people tend to smear the internet rules over everyone regardless)
Serenitynow Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 girls say atitude is everything but real men know better I think it is worth a lot. I know MANY fat guys that date a lot and have tons of female friends, simply because the guy is very jolly, and the girls like to be around overly happy guys that they can have fun with. Look at that Adam from that food show on tv, where he stuffs his face at a different restaraunts. Women LOVE that guy , because of his attitude, hes not that good looking, and hes overweight. I do feel tho that women seem to gravitate towards chubby teddy bear types more than the guys that are healthy and fit( like I am), not sure why on that.

I like a guy with meat on his bones because I feel like I'm gonna break a skinny guy when we have sex. But . . . . I'd rather date a thin guy with a fun attitude than a perfect muscled teddy bear with an ugly attitude.
