lovebound Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 two months ago, i reconnected with a guy i knew in high school thru FB. for a couple of weeks we talked on the phone or text. he was out in SC for a training since he is an airline pilot and prior to that he had surgery of the spine and was down for 3 months. he started flying again and came to my hometown, as he lives 4 hours away, to visit. we had the greatest time ever, we had known each other since high school which was 20 years ago. well, we kissed, were intimate. well i thought he would not call again after that but he did, which surprised me. since then, weve talked on the phone and a lot thru text, keeping in touch, he said he wanted to come back again. a month later it has not happened as his schedule has him flying over the weekend. he still says that he is going to come to visit me, we have had phone sex too. i have texted him in the past a couple of times, but the majority of the times, he respond right away, other times he does not, like today but i know he is flying today. last week i decided i wasnt going to initiate contact at all, and check what he would do, three days later he called and said he was sorry that he had neglected me due to his work, that he still wanted to come visit. we talked that nite until late. i texted him the next day to say hello, he replied right away. i texted today to ask him if he still was planning to come see me and when, no answer all day, the text was at early afternoon, so it is 8 hours later and no response. am i reading too much into it or is he not that interested? i know he is flying today, but i would think he at least would respond something. he did this a couple times before when he does not text back but a couple of days later he would call. ok, what do you think about this and should i write him off?
Serenitynow Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 As fast as you gave it up to him, he probably knows he can just swoop in (hes a pilot so he can do that) and hit it when he wants. we have had phone sex too Thats just nasty TMI No one has any excuse for not calling or texting. People CHOOSE not to text or call. How long does it take to send a text and say "sorry busy I'll get back to you later" People play games like this avoiding the other person on PURPOSE and women love to fall for it because it makes you want him even more. Once again this is why im single, because I dont PRETEND to be busy like all these guys do that get laid constantly

People play games like this avoiding the other person on PURPOSE and women love to fall for it because it makes you want him even more why do men do that?! is it some kind of gameplan that you guys have or something seriously, it just so happens that when u finally stop waiting for a reply.... you get a message! then it starts all over! its soooooo damn frustrating

superchick Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Quit initiating and responding to his contact and find someone who's willing to give you his time without making you wonder. You might be surprised how fast this guy decides to hop on that plane to visit you again... But be prepared if he doesn't. Sounds to me like he's keeping you hanging because a) it appeals to his ego or b) he doesn't want to hurt you by telling you that he's not interested anymore.
