The girl I like most right now is in a relationship and has been for a long time now, and here's how it came about I realized I liked her...... It goes back along ways, approx 5 yrs ago. We worked together and became friends almost instantly. I was in a pretty serious relationship at the time, as was she. (neither of us really discussed that with eachother) So pretty much we ended up just spending time together at work, little flirting etc, chatting on phone, There came a time where I needed help with transportation to work/places etc, and she was always there to help and wouldn't take a cent from me.... Anyway, there came a time where she left work.... We continued to talk occasionally, but she ended up meeting someone at her new job. And of course, shortly after this my relationship ended and I didnt end up making a move on her because I knew she just started seeing someone. And get this, the kicker is I remember her telling me when she first met this guy, how much he reminded her of me.... of course now they have been together ever since, and its actually just kinda hit me recently how stupid I was for not making a real move on this girl and getting out of the relationship I was in.............. Cause I wasnt even happy come to think of it. AND... lol.. its not even like I ask myself.. what would have happened if I asked her out?? because we hung out quite a bit and I asked her out before and she said yes.... I just didn't really go 100 percent at her because I was involved like I said... anyway, thanks for listening.. Guess my questions now are, thinking this girl is the one I really missed out on, is it okay to persue her while shes with someone, or what should I do?

Dude, seriously...? Move on. Meet new women. If she's been with this guy for that long, then she's probably doing alright with him. Don't go screwing with her life.

I dont plan on messing with her life and never would, but she contacted me recenlty to hang out and its just weird cause .. well, I guess I already explained that

But I know exactly the situation you're in, because I've been there myself...where the timing just doesn't work out like you want it to...but such is life...

I mean, Ive been there too. Just confusing is all... just take it as it goes i guess.

You will feel better about yourself in the end if you don't try throwing a monkey wrench into her life, no matter the outcome of the situation. Just think, if you had a girlfriend and some guy was trying to muscle in on your territory, would you feel comfortable with it? It's wrong. All egos will be hurt sufficiently and this will be a mess.
