Our society's views of what is normal and attractive are so scewwed that we think impossible photoshopped pictures are real and dismiss real women as being fat. Yes, some women are fat. But a lot of those pictures have had things made smaller and other things enhanced, depending on the audience of the publication.

What you have to keep in mind is: SEX SELLS...in everything...therefore, more attractive images will bring in more money...and with enough exposure, society is tempered to accept these images as reality...

Every makeup ad.. every lingerie ad.. every ad period.. Retouching isn't new and has been being done since photos have been used.. Cars, People, Appliances even pictures of food on the packaging in the frozen food section or the menu board at your favorite take out place. As far as guys looking at a retouched photo and thinking that is perfection.. hahaha.. that is only the perfection the art director was looking for when they directed the artist to slim down or alter them. I'm with Alpha.. they are idiots...

Those pictures never exsisted and are totally computer generated.. even the cars.. It's all virtual photography..

I will explain to them that if that girl walked past you in public you probably wouldnt even notice her because she would look so different. This is why I prefer girls that arent near a #10. I prefer girls that dont wear lots of makeup, hair spray, etc, Its all bunch of BS with guys/girls that give in to chasin a false image of perfection

Thats because women date for substance. They want a guy that has the job, the swagger, the ego. Guys dont care what the hell a women does as long as they find her attractive. A women could be unemployed with drama and baggage but if shes hot enough guys will pick her up. A hot guy with no job and baggage will never have such luck
