elits0 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 This is the email and my response: From her: Happy birthday! It's your 21st!!! I just wanted to wish u a happy birthday and that all your wishes n desires will come true. With all my love, xxxxx My Response: Thanks again. I hope you're doing well. But once again I do not belong in your life and you have no place in mine. So while I appreciate the thought and good wishes I have no need for them. Please don't contact me again. I don't know you anymore. Good luck with everything and goodbye. -elits0 Was this response justified? She played me pretty badly.. you can look for my original thread if you want to know the details. It's been 2 months since we talked last since I am trying to keep complete NC. She also sent me a text just saying happy bday and I responded with "Thanks. I know you're happy with xxx now so please don't contact me again. Take care. Bye." What bugs me is why would she send an email and a text? The text was at 3 a.m. and the Email was about an hour later. Did I handle this badly? I guess I am prepared to never talk to her again..
Author elits0 Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 Her email didn't require a response. I knew this would happen on my bday and I orginally planned to ignore everything. After I read it I just got so frustrated and angry I couldn't help myself.. Does me replying make that big of a difference?
USMCHokie Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Does me replying make that big of a difference? Not really. Remember, you're out of each others lives...what she thinks or feels about you is irrelevant...
Nikki Sahagin Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 If it makes you feel better that you replied, then thats all that matters If you feel you stood up for yourself, then there's no use in regretting it.
