ilikegirls Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 we have been going out for about 5months now and i told her that id loved her about alittle over a month ago... after i did.. there was like a few minute pause she said it back since than i have been saying it to her kinda frequently.. when i do, she just hold me tighter smiles or says somthing else a few weeks ago i asked her why she never says it to me.. she told me that she isnt ready and ish, and she wants to be sure and say it freely, before she does. and i am ok with this, cuz i dont want her to say it if she doesnt mean it. but its been a while... and its kinda eating away at me, cuz she doesnt say it. i dont know how long i need to wait. cuz i really do love her. but i want her to love me back i dont know what i should/can do? help?
seibert253 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 I remember I was dating a chick for about 6 months and gave her the ol I love you. There was a 5 second pause, then she replied "AAAAH, OK". Swing and a miss, strike three. A couple of weeks later we were done.
sagetalk Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 It's those stupid, sappy hollywood movies that make guys think girls like this stuff. Sure, if you're a linebacker with extra wide shoulders, or look like Brad Pitt, then yes they love hearing you say, "I love you" first. If you don't fall into either of those "romance movie" guy types, then let her say it first. It turns women off when you get ahead of them in the feelings department. It makes you appear feminine and unmanly. The hotter the girl, the less likely she wants you to say it first.
