nolagurl07 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Ok so i need some advice about a date i went on. I went on a date 2 nights ago. I met this guy online so it was kinda something new for me. I normally dont meet ppl online. Anyways we went out and had a drink that night. Things went really well I was surprised actually. The night ended he walked me to my car and we hugged. Im driving home and i get this text its from him im like already.. anyways he basically texted and said he had a good time and the date went better than he thought it would and i expressed my feelings of how i thought it went well too. I believe i pretty much got the message across that i like him from what i know so far. The thing is he hasnt called me yet to set up anything else. I was talking to a guy friend of mine and he thinks i should text him and just say hey to let him know im still interested. The thing is we went out wed night its only friday. I feel that looks a bit desperate and should i really contact him i mean with the text and all i figured he probably knows i like him. He seemed to like me too i mean he texted right after. I guess im just wondering if it weird that a guy texted right away is that a red flag and should i text him like my friend said to do or wait to see if he calls..

Him texting and saying that he had a good time is not a bad thing. If it's a red flag - it depends what he texted. If it was "Hey, I had a good time today. Call you later." <- not a red flag. "OMG! I had such a great time today with you! You are a fascinating woman and I am looking forward to taking you on another date and then marry you!" <- RED FLAG!
