I'm set to fly to see boyfriend this Saturday, who I haven't seen in six weeks. I've been so excited about it.

Now, today, I am pretty sure I am having a herpes outbreak. It's barely detectable, but I know what it is. I haven't had an outbreak in probably two years! And now this? Right now? I'm so frustrated and upset about it. :(

And, yes, my BF already knows and I have it, and I've already informed him about what's going on. I'm going to take meds for three days, then wait another 2 days. I'll be with him for a week, so we can be intimate later on in the week, but seriously guys -- I started crying.

It's one thing when you have to deal with this with a BF who you get to see all the time, but when it's long-distance.... I'm not feeling so great about myself right now.

Crap. Possiby the stress/excitement contributed to bring on the outbreak.

But he is OK with it...just think of the sexual tension you can build up until the end of the week!!

I'm sorry, PG. :/ It happens. Falling sick is one of the things that I worry the most about when the bf and I made visit plans, especially if they didn't last a long time. He once paid 5000 to fly back to see me for two weeks... and I had really bad diarrhea during the last week or so. He didn't complain, but I felt awful about it.

Sorry to hear that, Panda, but look at the bright side -- he seems to be very understanding of your condition and won't hold that against you or anything. Just try to take some deep breaths, relax, and look forward to meeting up with him this week! I'm sure you guys will have a great time together.

He in very understanding. It's almost like he doesn't even care. He said: "It's just something to deal with. We're going to be together a long time, we'll have lot of other moments together."

I'll be fine in a couple days. I just realized this a few hours ago, so I'm just getting through processing everything.

Remind yourself of this when you start stressing again. It sounds as if you have a keeper.

Ok, I gotta be honest.... I was :lmao: about this. Just sounds funny. Lord knows diarrhea is no biggie compared to herpes.

Feel better Panda.

Haha. Diarrhea is no joke, yo!

Thanks for all the kind words, people! I'm feeling better already.

Still sucks, but I will deal with it. There are a lot worse things that could happen to me.

Hehe, I did laugh over it after (crude jokes about too many bjs), but I'd honestly rather have had a herpes outbreak - even with medications the stomach spasms put me in agony a lot of the time, and I had a pretty bad fever going. But yeah.

Hope you feel better soon too, PG! And his response sounds wonderfully mature. :)
