GKRB Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 So I met a very sweet girl online and we have been talking for about 5 months now, we both get along fine. I started to feel a heavy attraction for her but did not hint it, maybe once I did, which was when I asked if she would ever be in a relationship with someone ( I did not say me) she said she is not interested in one, so I just moved on and we continued being friends. No big deal. Then, the next couple of weeks, she starts calling me, hun out of nowhere every single day, starts calling me baby, sweetie, saying Im kinda sexy, saying she wants to take a photo for me in a bikini with a drawn heart in the sand. I'm just confused, because I did not initiate any of this, she continues, "I want to meet you when you come by here" so the next day I ask her flat out, " do you like playing flirty games?" she would dodge the question with "no, Im cooking etc" I simply replied with "It was fun while it lasted" and she said "yeah" and that was it. I'm hurt by it because I really still do like her, I would like to know thou, did she really like me? was she shy? or was she just being immature and playing games? If so , its no surprise she has never been in a relationship. So, just forget about her? continue being friends also Im going to be in her area, and she would say "I want to meet you" should I even bother telling her now when I will be in her area? Also forgot to mention, If I don't start a conversation first (online), she wont bother with me. I always had to start. Once I did , she would start flirting and talking but so far since we last talked, she hasen't been starting any conversation. I guess she dosent want anything or is super shy since she has never been in a relationship. We did talk today for a little time, but it was small chit chat. I will also be performing in a band when she comes to see me. Im just wondering when I meet her she will still just be passive or play games.
Author GKRB Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 Thanks again Tasha, What I dont understand is, and maybe you could explain to me, why she decided to just start flirting with me out of nowhere, it was gradual, but still pretty fast, and weird since she told me she does not want any relationship. Could she really like me? or like you said, just gets in a mood?

We talked (call talked) today for about 1hr, there was no extreme flirting this time. She did call me honey again, but I would simply reply with sweetie, and continue talking and carrying on the conversation. Did I handle the situation correctly?
