DeSantos Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Ok, so I just broke up with my girlfriend of 5 months yesterday. I felt the relationship was not working for me after she threw insults that "i'd never be man enough to take care for her son, I was worthless" all after i'd actually bonded well with her son (took him out for bike rides and all that jazz) and also the fact that I always adjusted to her needs and she could'nt get round to adjusting to some of my simple requests... Anyway, so now I am seeing facebook and msn statuses saying i'm now ugly and all the rest... So, how does one deal with bitterness directed towards them ? Do I try and talk to her, ignore her ? What do I do ?
laRubiaBonita Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 As hard as it might be to do, yes- just be the bigger person and do not stoop to her childish level; do not acknowledge her or badmouth her either. i am sure people on FB/ MSN will recognize that things went south and now she is acting out in public- another truly tacky outburst.
Ronni_W Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Sounds like she's about 14. A dysfunctional 14! Desantos, like lRB says, your wisest is to just ignore her crap. The people who know you will know it's just crap...and it just won't do you any good to worry about the people who don't know you. I know it's very hurtful, though. Big hugs.
Patrice Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Be mature and ignore her ... don't read the stuff BTW .. you'll just end up reacting which is what she wants.
