boyfriend of 7 years cheats and im left in a mess

well as the title does say, my bf of 7 years cheated on me back in november with one of his girl friends who did have a terrible huge crush on him....he cheated on me because in september we had a downfall and it went sour till he told he cheated in january....i was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder wich explains why everything went sour in the first place. he couldnt cope with my terrible mood swings and our fighthing so he went to talk with his firend while being drunk and she took advantages of him twice...when he told me this it made me sick to the point of just throwing up and having extreme stomach pains. I told him that night he told me he cheated he had to stop talking to her and seeing her. and he did. things are great between us but i keep having terrible nightmares of him on top of her and stuff like that and i wake up crying...i get these nightmares atleast 3 times a week...its really hard to want to put this int he past when the past keeps coming to haunt you. also i dont know why i keep asking my bf difficult questions about those 2 nights...i know this is causing me pain but for some reason i need to know what happened. is this normal??? but seriously i need help for the dreams, has anyone else on here even experienced this? and is it normal i am so scared of running into this girl??? i feel as if i cant go out anymore cause i am scared of running into her

Decide if you really want someone that causes this kind of drama in your life as it seems you're dealing with some serious (and recent) news of your own.

 

Could be a good time to knuckle down and spend time with friends and family; keep the peace and take some time apart. See if he chases you.
