Butchannon Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Do you think that if a person dates multiple people in the same time for some period of time and have sex with them that it is a cheating? Or is it just a way to pick up the best in the end?
somedude81 Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 As long as there is no actual lying involved I don't think it is.

ADF Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 It all depends on whether or not the other people know about each other. If they do, and consent to date you anyway, then you're not cheating. If you lead each person to think you are seeing them exclusively--or let them think so by not saying anything--then you're cheating.

Or is it just a way to pick up the best in the end? It's not cheating if everyone involves knows. If you sneak around, lie about where you were, whom you were with, etc., then, it's cheating.
seibert253 Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 its not true cheating as long as you tell everyone that you're dating others ^^^^^^ This
reservoirdog1 Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Until there's actual mutual agreement on monogamy, it's not cheating. The key to cheating is "deception". No deception = no cheating. ("Conventional" guy wisdom therefore holds that a guy should delay having "The Talk" with a woman for as long as humanly possible. )
You Go Girl Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I don't care for your conventional wisdom, resevoir. Just be upfront about the truth. Tell the women that you are dating others. Women, stupidly, assume that they are in an exclusive relationship. Especially the sex part. No person should be unknowingly having sex with someone who is having sex with others (who is having sex with others, and those others having sex with others...) I draw the line at sharing potentially dangerous bodily fluids with more than one person at a time.
