runner Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 What do you all think of well groomed ladies? Not having no hair out of place or never without lipgloss but stylish and mindful of personal grooming. Men, would you ask out such ladies? if i found her attractive enough, of course i would. and if it were between the choice of a sloppy woman versus a 'well-groomed' one, well, i would definitely go with the latter; so long as it isn't to the point where she needed her entire vanity kit whilst camping and hiking. that's just too much for me.

This made me think a little. Sure, nobody likes gunk on their face. But what if without her vanity kit, she has freckles or pigmentation or scars or whatever I can't think of all, would you still like the girl you're camping and hiking with?
DanielMadr Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I know what I don't like. Girl coming on first date groomed like she just went for pack of smokes to 24/7. Ponytail with baseball cap or no makeup at all. That's just disappointing - no effort , wtf ? Even me the cave man put on a shirt. Damn some girls are spoiled. To answer the OP question. Not a hair out of line....might signify high maintenance...but if some guy is scared by that, I'd say screw him (not literary) I like it. It is feminine to be well groomed. But you should telegraph that you have no problem changing a diaper of our future baby....or mine (if I get demented too soon).

I think this is the first that I read of a guy not minding, and in fact liking, not having a hair out of line. It's refreshing. Though I would like to know how would/should one telegraph that she won't have a problem changing a dirty diaper?
Bangle Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I like women who take care of their apperance, but a woman doesn't have to spend hours taking care of her appearance unless she is going out on a date or is going to a family function... One thing I cannot stand on a woman is fakery, orange tans, bright blonde hair that clips on and clips off just doesn't float my boat. A woman can look beautiful without resorting to such tasteless measures.

So go out there and change some diaper. Once you do it without worrying that you will puke or spoil your nails, you got it. And that attitude...I groom myself but I'm a giver not afraid of getting dirty (or down and dirty ...will telegraph. Or you can share some story...like "when I changed diaper and that cute baby just peed on me...so cute.

And I think I still look pretty darn good.
