I know this girl who is 18 years old who I've known for years who is my younger sister's best friend. She knows I've wanted her for years, but she is dating a 39 year old man and likes "bad boys". She laughs at the assumption of me dating her.

Is it bad to hope wish and think horrible things happen to her? :o

Uhm, it is certainly indicative of a serious lack of maturity. When people aren't interested shrug it off and move on, she probably has issues you don't want to mess around with anyway.

Yes, it is wrong. Why would you wish someone harm just because they are not into you...

Hehe, part of my sig: "...pacify your environment and create a beautiful world!".

Right or wrong, it suggests an absurd sense of entitlement and a type of meanness that is extremely unattractive. No one owes you a date. Why get angry and wish them harm because they don't want you?

well I suppose it's just me. I have been feeling down lately anyways. My life hasn't taken the track I had hoped.

That feeling always sucks, but taking it out on other people isn't going to help you.

It will though my friend. But wishing for bad things to happen to other people isnt the way to get there.

It's frightfully immature. It's also extremely immature to still have a desire to go out with someone who has expressed that they aren't interested. It is a sin to demand that someone do something that is against their wishes. It is not the mission of others on the planet to ensure that everything they do is for the sole purpose of pleasing you.

If this is a serious problem for you, get counseling immediately. There are a few things that doing against the wishes of another can get you life in prison.

This is a big flashing sign pointing to the reason why you say you are having such a problem dating. Sounds like your head is not in the right place. Time to do some self improvement.

Is it wrong to wish mongoloid babies upon them who grow up and kill them in their sleep? Hmm, but I digress.... ;)

Seriously, in the face of what happens when a marriage ends, which is my current perspective, every last single rejection I've faced in life, and there have been innumerable ones, pales in comparison. Like they're nothing. It's actually fun getting rejected now. I relish it. Next :)

It really is creepy to pine for someone for years who you know doesn't like you that way. Get over it and find some other girls to date.

LOL IDK I guess I just can't believe a girl can laugh and say no way she'd be interested in me and it feels like a dagger through my heart.

If you've known her for years its possible you just got friendzoned before you even got a swing at the bat, no big deal it happens, the CORRECT response, rather than this petty vengeance, is to man up and just move on, if she isn't interested in you then clearly you shouldn't be interested or care about her either.

if she literally laughed in your face that says a lot about her character and probably isnt the kind of girl you'd want to be with anyway...but its no reason to wish horrible things on her (i bet if something horrible really happened you'd feel pretty bad too)

IDK I'm a pretty right-wing cold hearted guy but perhaps you're right.

Its a juvenile thing, we all have our moments. As long as you don't act on your thoughts, you have every right to think about whatever you want.

Besides - they probably did the same thing in their own head when you walked up to them.
