SadandConfusedWA Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I've had a UTI spread up to my kidneys and trust me - she DOES NOT want that. She needs to get to a doctor - even if it is a 'doc in the box' - to get some antibiotics. So did I. I ended up in a hospital and the infection was so advanced that I nearly died. It can get quite serious and she needs to see a doctor. In my case UTI lingered for a few weeks and I also felt it was getting better. I never saw a doctor though, until I woke up one morning and my pee had a consistency of a candle wax I freaked out and went to an emergancy room - by that time my fever was sky high too. And BTW, one of my kidneys has permanent damage now and is only functioning at about 40%.
Author VertexSquared Posted May 23, 2010 Author Posted May 23, 2010 Ok apparently she has been taking meds everyday -- she's aware of the kidney thing and has been taking proper measures, apparently.
