how soon do you start calling the person you are dating names like "baby" "honey" "sweetie" etc.? when do you usually start using these romantic nick names?

so if the person your dating begins to call you by a romantic nick name all of a sudden then should you also call them a nick name? whats the significance of them calling you by a romantic nick name?

I used to think "baby" is tacky, but when my gf calls me "baby" I giggle. So, i guess it comes naturally at some point.

It's even more fun when you come up with personal silly pet names...

 

I call my boy Parfait Inconnu, which is French for Perfect Stranger...

I also call him Scrat... Haha. For reasons I won't disclose :laugh:

Do many guys like being called "baby"? An ex-girlfriend used to call me that when we first started dating and I thought it was so annoying. She eventually started calling me "cutie," which I liked.
