I know we see so much negativity on this board, people are hurting, in pain, confusion, angry...etc. We have a songs thread that can be both positive or sad..a poems thread....etc. I want to do an affirmation thread, something similar to a signature thread.....a positive saying that strikes your fancy.

I've been working on an affirmation wall in my bedroom and would like to know of anything else positive or thoughtful that has helped others get by in a time of need.

After my weekend, one that has humbled me, "I cried because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet." ~ Author Unknown

And this one as well, "When you stop comparing what is right here and now with what you wish were, you can begin to enjoy what is." ~ Cheri Huber

Come on - good enough, I will put them on my wall...nothing hateful, envious or ugly....this is for positive thoughts for each other. Somewhere out there, compassion still lies in the heart (no matter how broken it seems). :o

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.
