I mean, she smokes, she has kissed a girl, tried pot, use to love the clubbing scene, stays out until 3 am (I presume regularly), prefers short term relationships, has heaps of close guy friends, and there's more. I learnt this all on the first date. I have friends like this and, to be honest, I've never been really close to them. I have work, sporting commitments and university studies keeping me going, and I see my friends on twice a week. I do not smoke and never will, and probably wouldn't enjoy the club scene. I have a lot of girl friends but none of them are too close. I prefer a serious, long-term relationship. We'll be going to a 2nd date soon. I found that her blunt honesty rather attractive, actually and I don't know why but I really, really like her. I hate overanalysing this but maybe it isn't a good idea? I have no idea what she wants from me.
Arabella Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 You know what they say... opposites attract. You're over-analyzing this. If you really like her, who cares if she's opposite of you? That can actually be a good thing. It means you both will have more things to explore and discover together than if you already shared all of the same interests. It's just a second date. Why not give it a chance? There's nothing to lose at this point. Keep an open mind! Arabella
