mike1988
This isn't a thread about the differences between "relationships" and "hooking up" but from my experience, in fact the only times I've had sex, it's been with women of 35 and 39 years of age, respectively. I find that just in flirtation conversation, even after having first met, the sexual tension between myself and older women is extremely high while the sexual tension between myself and women closer to my own age (21) is rather low if there is even any at all. I have gotten a reputation from both my family and friends as being "cougar bait" due to my red hair, which tends to be a turn-on for more mature women than younger ones. All you ever hear is "Younger women today are always having sex". I tend to disagree. I think they may give in to their boyfriends and have sex...but I feel that older women, say 28, 29 years old and above "desire" it more. Talking to a 20 year old woman, born in 1990, almost seems like talking to an innocent woman who has absolutely no desire for sex...while talking to say...a 33 year old woman, born in 1977...the sexual tension is intense. Is this just my experience?
SarahRose
That is because we actually know what we are doing in bed. I think younger girls tend to put out to get some guy to like them rather than because they actually enjoy sex and let's face it, young guys are pretty clueless about how to please a woman. Could you actually be anymore insulting? I have sex because I love sex, not because I want to get some guy to like me. How ridiculous. Considering the amount of sex starved men on here from their wives total lack of sex drive, I'd have to say this is actually very incorrect.

stepka
Could be a couple of reasons for that: Older women come from a generation where there were fewer consequences for casual sex and older women are not looking for a 21 yo to set up house with and have babies and all so it can just be all about the sex. Younger women like sex just as much, but they need to be pickier b/c they are looking for a relationship (in general). If you're looking for a relationship as well, then be careful b/c you'll get a name for yourself, but it it's just about sex right now, then carry on. (Carefully of course, the baby boomers are getting HIV at a rate faster than any other generation right now.)
Engadget
Women hit their sexual peak around 30, so yes.
LucreziaBorgia
Honestly, I didn't even get much enjoyment from sex until I was in my mid thirties. Sex just got me what I wanted before that. Now that I enjoy it, I do it for very different reasons.
harmfulsweetz
Hm, I'm sure there's other threads on this somewhere but yeah, I've heard this. I think it's not to do with the desire to have sex, or the drive for it, but perhaps a lot of younger women are shyer about it, more restrained, (I know I can be) whereas older women feel that they can be more open about it etc. But yeah, I agree with citizen erased, I have sex because I love sex, not because I have to to make a guy like me. Even us young 'uns know that won't work.
bac
In general, older women want to have sex more. That is very true. When I was in 20s, I had no idea how to enjoy sex. I mostly enjoyed it because it was great to get some attention/love and all other benefits including marriage and kids. There is nothing else that older women might want from you except sex anyway. As for younger girls, they might want your friendship, emotional connection, love, to get married you, to have your babies, your help, money, and many other things that you might provide for them. Lizzie60
This is certainly not that simple.. Older women, who have been with the same partner for ages, do NOT enjoy sex as much as younger women who have been with their partner for a short period of time. Younger women, who have babies, do NOT enjoy sex as much, because they have other responsibilities and other priorities, they do not have as much energy as when they were childless.. Older women, who are single, DO enjoy sex a lot more especially when they have the choice of partners, when the partners are younger.. yes.. it is more exciting.. we have a lot more experience.. we know what to do with the male equipment.. we know how to have them at our feet.. somedude81
In my uh...unusual sexual history I have been with a few older women 40-45 who were into the swinger scene. Young women are almost completely unheard of there. All of the women had a couple of things in common; they all were in relationships, and wanted to be with a young guy. Is this just my experience? Of course. That is because estrogen begins to take a backseat, and their testosterone levels increase through the years. Basically, at that point they begin to feel how men in their 20's feel. Men's levels, however typically decline over time. It could be viewed as a cruel move by nature, but I view it more as a genius plan to prevent overpopulating.

That's my main problem. I'm at the age of 21 which is a strange age for dating from what I can tell. Either you are a bad boy enjoying the lust and relationship of a young woman or you are a "nice guy" enjoying intense flings with older women. With my luck, around the age of 30, I'll look hot and THEN 18-25 year old women will want me. In that case...for all I know...my future wife is 8 years old right now. Pretty crazy. That's the 3rd option, and nobody enjoys a long-term dry spell. I'm assuming you were being sarcastic.
D-Lish
My sex drive isn't any different from my 20's to my 30's. I am just way more confident and uninhibited than I was when I was younger. I def enjoy sex more than I did when I was younger- but that has to do with feeling more confident than I did in my 20's.
