When to have the talk

Hi everybody. I've been out on 2 dates with a girl, I know her through family friends of ours. We really clicked right away, although nothing happened until the second date when we finally kissed. She then revealed it was her first ever kiss. Our dates have been a bit awkward since we're both so inexperienced and neither of us has been in a relationship before. But she was really tender and warm toward me and I felt so amazingly happy to be embraced with her. She had a great time too, I could tell. She'd never been on dates before, we are both really incredibly shy.

 

We pretty much talk for hours every night, and I'd like to ask her to be my girlfriend, but I'm not sure if it's too soon?? Would girls be freaked out if a guy asked you to be together after only 2 dates.

How long have you been doing the "talking for hours every night" thing? Two dates may be a tad bit too soon, especially if you're going to be her first boyfriend. It's different for every couple though. For instance, if you've been talking for hours every night for a month or so and only managed to fit in 2 dates in between, it's a completely different situation, and I'd be asking why you haven't already asked.

 

Also, how old are you?

Thanks for replying. We've "known" each other for a few years, ever since she moved to this country. But we only really began talking about a month ago when I decided to add her on facebook and we clicked. I asked her out on a date and we had a great time. The next week she was busy so we went out the week after - that was our first kiss. And tonight is date no.3!

 

The talking for hours on end thing actually began pretty early on. Time just flies when with her. We would have met up more often, but she lives a fair distance away from me, so we can only really do it on weekends given our schedules:(
