sb129 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 All you americans that are answering these- none of you have said "american", you have all said a mixture of other nationalities. Are your parents first generation irish/italian or whatever or is that their ancestry? How many generations has it been since they lived in their country? Its interesting to see how many people are of such different origins. My grandfather was an irish immigrant, the other grandparents were a mixture of scottish, english and danish, but were all New Zealanders. I am 100% Kiwi with an Irish passport. Go figure.
Toki Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) Well specifically I'm a Euro Mutt, like *shock* most white people are since there's been a pretty steady level of migration/invasion through the last two or three thousand years in the area. It's only in the last one hundred-sixty years that people in Europe stopped emigrating from their homelands to neighboring countries. If you're Irish chances are you're also part Celt/Norwegian/Danish/English/Spanish, if you're English chances are you're also Norwegian/German/Jewish/Celt/French/Roman blah, blah, blah. I was going to say American, but it wouldn't let me edit so I just left it. Edited May 15, 2010 by Toki
