I had a really interesting phone call this morning from my ex. He normally doesn't call super early in the morning so I answered under the impression it was some sort of emergency.

He tells me that he wants to work things out and that he is getting rid of the current girlfriend so we can be a family again. I've heard this same crap for the past two weeks. Nothing ever comes of it and I end up back at square one with my feelings.

Before I even had time to think, I told him "no thanks." He was caught off guard and I told him that he keeps saying the same thing and we keep getting the same results. I'm over it and I'm tired of feeling like this. I told him I need to move on and the game is over. I hung up.

I'm still in shock that I was this strong but it made me feel great! I will not let him have any control over me anymore. I love him but this is insane. If he wanted to be with me, it would have happened already. Instead he is so scared to split with this girlfriend because they work together and he doesn't want it to screw up his work situation that he just feeds me lines so I will stay around until he finds a new job. Nope. Not interested.

Besides, last night I realized that somehow our break up got twisted. He makes it seem like I did something wrong and I need to fix myself. I am the one that kicked him out and then we mutually agreed to split. I did nothing wrong and I refuse to go a moment longer feeling like this was all my fault...
