Arasae Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Hey all, for those of you who are attached, where did you meet your partner? For those of you who aren't, where do you go to meet people (and have been relatively successful)? I need suggestions, haha. I'm tired of dating my laptop!
Green Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I've met girls every where from planes to trains. Just go out and do the things you want in your life and you will meet people. They will be in the class you take or the group you join. They will be the people you meet durring your career. You will meet people in line at the bank or while shopping at the mall or supermarket.
Rorschach Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I agree with the 'do what you enjoy to meet women who enjoy what you do' theory. Personally i like The beach The park Board game clubs Hiking Clubs Golf Tennis DnD games SciFi cons rarely
joeLove Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 How old are you? What do you like to do? You can join a wine tasting club, take evening language classes or learn some other skills like cooking , drawing, learn how to dance (East coast, swing, latin, hip hop), Join a fitness club, Book club, a running club, Biking club ... there are so many ... sooo many ways to meet women ... You can use meetup dot com.
Toki Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 The best way I've met people is by not actively looking at all, sometimes you just run into people that you've got something in common with. The times that I have actively tried dating with purpose, I met people that I shared things in common with on a plutonic level, but never on an emotional or spiritual level. It's just luck of the draw, look wherever you're at!
TPPpeter Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Look at it like this... Going Out To Nightlife - Some women want to meet men. Others just go for attention (and they come prepared to block any moves a man makes) Going Places During The Day - Approaching women is much easier because it's not a pick up environment and they find it flattering. Daytime Places - Shopping Mall - Grocery Store - Park - Bus Stop - Beach - Museum - Driving (car to car communication) - Amusement Park etc. You get the idea. Good luck!
AngryTroll Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 I usually meet guys online, but I've stopped doing that now. Usually when a guy approaches me, it's on the train, walking down the street, etc. But that's not always the case. Try going to lounges, or volunteering to meet people, that's what I'm doing this summer!
