Rob Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 For all you folks trying to get into better shape, I suggest you wake up weekday mornings at 7 AM and catch the Jack La Lanne show on ESPN Classics. This guy is a genius and he will help you to look & feel better. Now get up and do something! I only wish that I had this great resource 5 or 6 years ago when I was a highschool kid.
brashgal Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 I prefer his protege, Denise Austin - she's on Lifetime at the same time.

Author Rob Posted January 27, 2004 Author Posted January 27, 2004 He is a very healthy and vibrant 90 years old now. He no longer instructs brand new episodes on TV. His programs are reruns from the 1950's to the 1980's. Even now, at the age of 90, he is in better shape than most of us.
flannelpajamas Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 When I waited tables in Santa Barbara he and his wife came into my restaurant for breakfast. He was so kind and inspiring. I didn't know too much about him until I met him as a server, but now I think he's the best and incredibly amazing!
