TwilightSky Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Might seem odd in today's day and age, but are there prescriptions for weight gain for those that are chronically thin? Sorry if this seems like a strange question
LucreziaBorgia Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I'd talk to a nutritionist about it, but if you add something like a Boost drink to your meals that might help.

Sorry if this seems like a strange question That weight-gainer drink worked for me...the one loaded with vitamins and calories that mixes with milk.
D-Lish Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Donuts work. If you are truly concerned with putting on weight- what's the difference between downing boost and eating a donut.

FitChick Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 How many calories a day are you eating? Log all your food, weigh and measure it, just like overweight people do. You may not be eating enough or there is an imbalance in your diet. If you are eating plenty of calories, then have your thyroid checked. You might be hyperthyroid, which revs your metabolism. A red flag would be if any family members have thyroid problems, whether they are hyper or hypo.
