So the title pretty much sums it up. There's a guy at my school who I used to see around the library occasionally. I never said anything to him or any other attractive guys for that matter because I was in a relationship at the time. But now I'm single and he still goes to my school.

I found his Facebook page but due to privacy settings I can't see anything about his relationship status. I've seen some pictures of him on Facebook and he's always with a group of people, not just one girl. So that leads me to think that he's probably single, but you never know. Unfortunately I don't have any mutual friends that I would feel comfortable asking them about him.

He's really attractive in my eyes and I know we some stuff in common due to the nature of the school that we go to. I'm so tempted to add him on Facebook but that would probably be too weird. Has anyone been in a similar situation before? I don't know what to do... :(

Check out the thread on here that asks if guys like being approached.

I'll give you a hint.

WE LOVE IT.

Go up to him next time you see him and just introduce yourself, sure rejection is a possible outcome but when isn't it? And wouldn't rejection be better than investing all this emotional energy into something that at it's current state will never pay you back?

Oh trust me if I saw him in person I would definitely approach him!! I'm not shy when it comes to approaching guys. I did the initial approach in my last 2 relationships so I have experience with that. The only problem is that I haven't seen him around in a while! I know for certain though that he still goes to the school but I just don't know where he is.

Zoinks, sounds like a mystery scoob.

But really I think thats probably the best way to go around it, I don't like the online facebook sort of things. I personally don't take them seriously and I can't be the only one.

Me either, I don't really like the Facebook approach but I don't know what else to do.
