befreckled Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Met a really cute guy at a club who's a friend of a friend and we were chatting for a good part of the night. We played a really lame game - we thumb wrestled. We set a reward for the winner which was um sexual in nature. We aren't in Kansas anymore, Toto. Anyway, I lost (and believe me, I tried to win!) The friend I came decided to bail right around that time and I decided to leave too (You come together, you leave together, oldest clubbing rule there is) As I was leaving, he asked me if he could cash in his prize tonight and I said well no cos I'm leaving but lets do numbers. We proceeded to exchange numbers and I left. Question is, do you think its possible to change from flirty girl at the club to potential date? Should I wait for him to call? Assuming I ignore convention, how can I get him on a date without being some random girl trying to score?

If you're trying to turn someone who has the option of being with many women into a monogomous boyfriend, you're in for a rude awakening. The club is not the best place to find men looking for long term girlfriends. You already set the precedent for how he perceives you. You already owe him a sexual favor before you even left the club you met him in. But you don't know this guys intentions. Go on a date with him, and figure it out. Call him if you feel like it, or wait for him to call. You're choice.

Pfiend101 Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Im curious, what was the prize for winning thumb wrestling...? A BJ is my first guess.

I wanted to know if the male psyche has little boxes that they put women they are somewhat attracted to in. E.g: cute girl at club..highest potential a good lay OR, cute girl at club who perhaps outside of the club could be interesting. Definitely not looking for him to be my bf. The alcohol has somewhat worn off and, he is my friend's friend so there's a pretty good chance we might see each other again. If he reminds me, then I guess we know his intentions. At this point, I don't think he'll call.

I don't think very many men are looking for both.
