pedro1 Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 It's been 47 days since she left, I packed up all her things put them all in the garage where there waiting for her in nice labeled boxes, just got back to work from a three month lay off , things are going good, only have to see the STBX every Sunday when she drops or picks up the kids if I go outside to talk to her which I don't try to. Things are looking up, talking to girls, working, loving my boys then BAM go to clean out my old lunch box so my oldest can use it and I find a card from my 40th birthday last year of her saying "love you forever." Straight back to square one, broke down in front of my oldest boy. Why do things like that hit you so hard?
Gunny376 Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Because your a human being. When we think we come across someone we can trust, depend upon, rely upon ~ we make a Hugh emotional investment in them. Be their our spouses, our friends, our children. But people are frail, and they sometimes not only let us down? They let themselves down!
