I like men in backwards baseball hats. But not all guys can pull that off. Also like a man in a suit. Guys that try too hard and where too many labels are a turn off though.

It's too hot for a suit though. Is there anything else that can sub for that? But I do like to wear the baseball caps. And you're right, not many can pull that off lol

Now I understand why more and more men are showing up in yoga classes!

I go on a weekend long canoe-camping trip in the summer and all us girls have figured out the best pants for the job are yoga pants. They're comfortable, stretch easily, roll up when it's hot and more importantly, they dry fast. Never realized they likely explained why some fishermen offered us wild free fish and why a group of guys decided to help us set up our camping site.

Yep. That's why.

This is why I can't help but drool over women who put squats/lunges in their workout routine. It shows. Because when they put pants like these on, or those mini skirts/shorts, you can see all the tight curves. Ugh, they get me every time. And I can't stop looking. It's even worse when I think about how that may belong to some lucky guy out there. A nice ass is seriously underrated.

If you ladies hang around these kind of threads often I promise you all will learn quite a bit. Visual stimulation for us guys is huge.

Not sure what big great service you think you are providing Mr. Nate. You act like you are telling women things they don't know, or that we don't know what to wear when we want to draw male attention.

If us ladies hung around these threads, we would all develop complexes and negative opinions of men because no woman needs to sit around hearing men laminate consistantly that the most important thing to men about women all comes down to the "visual stimulation" you seem to think women should provide that best pleases you and other men.

I'm not providing a service. I fully understand that women know what to do when it involves drawing male attention.

If you hang around these threads, you would only develop complexes and negative opinions if you allowed yourself too. When did I ever say women should provide this or that? Go and live your own life. I fully expect no one to live up to my demands, nor should they. We are simply stating our likes. We are not making women do anything.

I titled this thread 'superficial' for a reason. It's fun, and the other ladies who are participating are getting a kick out of it as well.

You're a sweet woman Jersey, please don't accuse me of things.

Other than the yoga pants most of the clothes the guys have posted here are not at all suitable or appropriate (well for me at least) to wear out in public. The 'denim' skirt was so short; if I was a woman walking around in that I would think that she was desperately seeking male attention and I would never ever want to give off that vibe. I think that clothes that flatter a woman's body yet still leave room for imagination are the way to go. Classy, not slutty. But then again I'm a woman....

'Seeing' less is more for me, perhaps belying my age and generation or perhaps not. My sense of fashion and style has always been firmly rooted in the 40's and 50's for gender-specific image, perhaps due to my mother being a clothier and model during that era. It's what I grew up with.

Example

Another area is swimwear. While most contemporary men would prefer the attire of 'daughter' on the right, I inevitably gravitate to that of 'mom' on the left, accepting that both ladies are quite attractive. Again, seeing less leaves more to the imagination and that is attractive to me.

I will endeavor to become more superficial ;)

I love 50s-inspired stuff. It's making a comeback in some subcultures, and there's a whole goth-y/pin-up scene these days, which is great for me since it means more 50s-inspired clothes are more easily available, and a lot of them are more authentic than kitschy. I'd wear something like this dress or this one or this one. :)

And, yeah, I'd rather wear that vintage swimsuit on the left than the bikini on the right. Maybe with cat-eye sunglasses and a scarf around my hair Grace Kelly style. ;)

lol ok that example was a bit extreme, I'll admit. I agree with leaving some for the imagination being the way to go 100%. Which is why I'm a sucker for those types of clothing. Regular miniskirts, yoga pants, etc.

I'm not a fan of the slutty either. That reeks of desperateness, and frankly, is quite boring. Definitely keep it classy terra.

I've never seen a woman wear a skirt like the OP posted either except in a music video.

Mr.Nate, what did I "accuse" you of anything accept the truth? You told us we should hang around these "shallow" threads as you deemed it to learn what men like because "visual stimulation" is so important to men. If women stuck around these threads, we'd all develop resentment and complexes towards men because your highligthing men to conform to their more unflattering qualifies (being shallow about the way women look). Your advice is all about what women can do to provide men with what you qualify men needing..(ie "visual stimulation).

Yeah, wow, I skipped over it the first time around. That looks like underwear, not a skirt. I've never seen anyone wear anything that short aside from some of those tiny skirts girls sometimes wear at the beach.

It's purely in jest, Jersey. I don't expect women to dress like that. Hence the thread title. As far as visual stimulation goes, i still stand by the fact that physical attractiveness is important in a mate. Please don't take this thread too seriously. We are simply discussing the types of clothing we find attractive. I'm not highlighting men to conform to their more unflattering qualities. I'm just another anonymous poster like the rest of them. I seriously doubt my sole opinions are influencing any of theirs.

Heck, if you would prefer me to post a more appropriate miniskirt to drive my point home for you, I can do that as well.

I implore you once again to not take this thread too seriously.

Of course you are.

I just asked my boyfriend what he likes me wearing. He said I look hot in anything. Shows how much he cares:P

And those yoga pants? I had no idea what they were called either. One stage I kept wearing them everywhere because they were so comfy (even if they made me look like a dag) and I could pretend kick people in them they were so stretchy, so I called them my beloved "ninja pants"... not that I'll suddenly appear behind you with my foot near your face. Or at least I'd give fair warning with a "hayaa!" or an "adorken!".

These kinds of threads are entertaining and really don't have to be taken seriously, even if some posts have valid points. It's the internet, people can and will say whatever they like.

I think most of us are mature enough to decide for ourselves what we will and won't take from a post.

Most people like looking good to people they're attracted to. The only reason they wouldn't want advice if they have no hope. If they are so completely ugly they are resentful of everyone else. I believe Jersey Shortie fits into this category.

On a more modern note, with a traditional flair, here's one of my favorites, worn by actress Sandra Bullock (in a candid), the pencil skirt, here as part of a suit ensemble. Nice. :)

I have a high-waisted pencil skirt like that and the bf loves it too. Nice and classy choice carhill! It accentuates a woman's small waist and form-fits tightly enough to see her assets. ;]

Yes, properly tailored, and of course Sandra can afford this, one is drawn to her strengths and even her admittedly modest bosom is accentuated. Classy, attractive and leaves something to the imagination. Note also minimal jewelry, hair in a pony tail, but yet the 3-4" pumps. Classic juxtaposition. IMO, a woman won't go wrong with this, no matter her shape. Stbx was overweight but always looked great in a tailored ensemble like this.

Too conservative IMO  But it does highlight the ass and curves, which are very important. The black color gets points as well. There's just something mysterious about that color.

lol I wouldn't really care what my gf wore either. And that is yet another advantage of wearing yoga pants. The flexibility! And their uncanny ability to highlight all the important curves. We need to emphasize these advantages.

my oh my, what a lucky guy!

Haha well I should note that's not me in the pic. :D

I do have a pretty nice butt though so that pic's not too far off! :o
