lullaby Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Hi guys. I was having breakfast and I remember that I do have a successful story of second chances to share with u. I don't know if it's ok or not to share it, but since weekends are so tough, it may probably help to have a little hope. A coworker of mine was dating his actually gf for 4 years. One day, she told him she needed time to think and he came out with the joke "ok, then I can sleep with other girls, right?" (thinking she would get mad at this) And she replied "OK". So he noticed that sth was wrong, how could that not bother me? In the end, she confessed she was sleeping with some other guy and that's why she needed time because she couldnt hurt him anymore. He was devastated and decided to break the relationship. For a couple of months he couldnt sleep, eat, anything, almost like all of us. Time passed, he tried to recover himself and live his life again. He started dating other girls, going out and having a good time. ONE YEAR PASSED, and she contacted him again, asking him to forgive her and bla bla. They met for coffee and since he was still in love with her, he decided to give it a go, very carefully, but he chose to believe her. This was 4 YEARS AGO!!! From that day on, they worked things out and now they live together and have a 1 year old child together!!!! Of course, this is one case, one story, but what I mean by this is that my friend decided to go on with his life, cut all contact with her (well, he had quite a huge reason for it, she had been cheating on him!!!!) but since he moved on and cleaned himself up of those nasty feelings and thoughts, he could take her back and they stared anew. This may probably inspires us to pass at least another weekend! best!
sandy12345678993 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Well so far no one has responded to this, and since no one has responded to mine either I thought I would be the first to respond to this one. Yay!!!!!!!! Good for them.
aerogurl87 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Yay, that's awesome! Second Chances do sometimes work, and I love hearing a good happy ending. My ex and I never got ours... even if he is still in love with me.
