I know we are from all parts of everywhere, but that is where "no stone unturned" comes into play.

Here is what I know.

A few of you might remember a (charming?) person I met a few years ago. I did start a thread about her entitled "crazy raped, set on fire, bipolar woman I met", or something like that.

Here is the deal.

She did marry. After careful secret researching I do think she married up as she got a house and was not homeless any longer. Although her price for a house was to be subjected to a very very bad person. Warrents, jail time, all that jazz. Very bad man.

Ms. Lady finds her abusive husband dead in their house.

Within one week a guy (who lives in the neighborhood) persuades an illiterate woman who's husband's body she just found a few days prior to sign over a deed to what will be her house. He recorded this 1 day after she signed it and he bought her a bus ticket out of our city. Within 7 days of her finding her dead husband.

He is a realtor by the way. He should know that a deed recorded before a probate is even settled is a more then gray area, but I'm sure he feels no one likes this lady.

Well, I do.

This 'realtor' has a record.

I just want my semi-sweet crazy neighbor to live in her house for her natural life.

...and no she will not agree to a guardian (she hates me every other hour). However, she is so being screwed. She is a ferral person that I would love to help. My local calls go unanswered/unreturned.

I just don't know what I can do.

She will be homeless. Because of signing something she could not read, less then 7 days after finding her dead husbands body in their house and freaking out and wanting to leave.

What?

Oh... The neighbor will be getting an assessed 80-90 thousand dollar property (recorded) for 4-20 thousand dollars....per deed clauses.

This woman has no concept of money. I'm going on the Willie Wonka deed on record which is in itself just odd.

He is already kicking her out and forcing her to pay rent if she is to stay.

I mean really.

Should I make a roadblock of crippled puppies for him to kick?

I'm so mad.

Wow thats a harsh situation my advice maybe contact a organization that deals with the disabled and see were you stand also is this guy a practicing Realtor? maybe contact the Realtors association.

But unless she has been found to be disabled and not able to make decisions on her own then theirs prob not a huge amount you can do sadly.

especially since shes not willing to corporate totally they may say its her call I dunno sounds like hes already steam rolled the puppies by the sounds of it what a wanker!

Drawers, I would gut this ******* like a hog!! First thing is to find a good, vicious/rabid civil rights lawyer, every city has at least one, who will do pro bono work. Then contact any of the Developmentally handicapped/ mentally challenged spokesgroups, and then contact the local media. Burn this bastard at the stake.;)

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have thought about contacting the realtors association. He is a practicing one.

I also thought about getting the local media involved. She is a bit of a local celebrity in that she is a very interesting character.

I tried to contact the solictor's office on the phone and in person. It just seems like a law is being broken here.

We (we have a little team rallying for her cause) have begun the process for her to get legal aid, I don't know what will come of that. I may try to find a civil rights lawyer here, that would be good.

It is a mess and I guess what I would like to do is have all the ducks in a row then confront him with the deed I have already crafted for him to sign that property back over to her. Faced with media attention, loss of licence and whatever else I can think of. Maybe he will just cut his losses.

Ideally she might need someone to own that house and be responsible for the taxes. If he were to retain ownership and deed her a life interest and somehow it is explicity understood that she has the right to live there for her natural life. Then both of them would benefit from that. She has a home and he still gets a great real estate deal. However, I don't know if well, either one of them, are all that trustworthy. The difference is that he knows what he is doing.

She yelled at me yesterday. Maybe today she will listen? :lmao:

Today was her husband's funeral.

6 months after his death. 6 months after she was promised money to give him a proper burial by the person who swindled her house from her.

He was buried with other indigent cremated bodies in a small hidden field outside of the city.

As she clung to me I could feel her whole body shake.

Upon returning home there was an eviction notice posted on her door.

Undie... that is so sad. I'm outraged on her bahalf, what a POS that realtor is.

Where is she living?

Have you tried contacting the media? This guys needs to have his reputation ruined.

Why do you even care? Don't you have anything more productive to spend your time on? She'll just end up in the gutter again eventually anyway.

At university it was compulsary for us to work at a legal aid office. What a spectacular waste of time and resources on people who are just blights on society. Never again!

Why should I not care? Sure I have other things that I do.

Good thing you got out of that business.

That silly business of caring.
