If there hasn't been that, the true commitment on his part isn't there and he isnt really invested....kind of what melodymatters says, you aren't married, so this is how it goes in that situation. I mean doesn't even sound like you're engaged, right? Sorry, I think he is detaching and becoming less and less in love with you as you show your insecurities and clinginess. I just saw this. Thanks for your concern Pink Cupcakes. There is talk of marriage but we both feel we should wait until after the big changes related to our careers before we tie the knot. Certainly, we want to wait until we're in the same country again. What's the point of marrying if you're spending all your time apart? So, basically, no engagement in the near future. I've been in LDRs in the past and I think an engagement would only add unnecessary pressure right now. We have a lot of big changes coming up, changes which will hopefully make us stronger but changes which will certainly challenge us.
