My ex and I had been apart for 6month. During the first 4 months of break up I had LC mainly from my end. Finally I decided it would be best for me to move on and didn't contact him at all for 2months. After 2months of NC, he had emailed me. Couple weeks after the email, I emailed him back, and bumped into him during a compay training session. To make long story short, we ended up spending the night together. During that night we had talked about relationship and he told me that he is not planning his future around "us" and there wouldn't be possible future together, but he still wanted to stay friends. I told him that I couldn't stays friends, because it would not help me move on from the relationship. So I thought everything was over and I went on my trip to Bali for 5days. When I came back from the trip, I bumped into him again at the airport. (We are flight attendants) We simply exchanged greetings....Then, later that night, he had left me a lengthy message. He was very apologetic towards how he made me feel during our relationship, and told me the things I said to him during that night we spent together made him realize something he didn't before. He didn't invite me for a talk, though he did mention that he wished he could have listen to what I had to say. I have learned and realized many things about my self from the break up, and almost at the end of my healing process. Although I still want him in my life, I also want to move on. Should I call him back to stay as friends, or just let this relationship be another life lesson?

First of all, no one "ends up" sleeping with anyone. Not ever. They CHOOSE to do it.

Look, this guy just wants to get you in a FWB relationship. Anything he says or does is just part of his campaign to do that. If that is what you want, fine. But it doesn't sound like it to me. It sounds like you want to move on and meet someone new. You will never do so as long as you stay in touch with this man. His only interest--I PROMISE you this is true--is to keep you on hand as his personal sex android. At least, until he find someone else, at which point he will likely drop you. I am afraid you're setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.
