BobSacamento
How long should you chat with someone before you ask someone to meet up? I've been chatting with someone for almost 2 weeks but we both have been pretty bust with trips and exams. We have not chatted on the phone, however I'd rather meet face to face. We live about 45 minutes away. Should I ask for her number first or just ask to meet up for coffee?
Author BobSacamento
Well I asked if she wanted to meet up, but I'm still curious as to what women feel comfortable with. I usually ask after a good 3 or 4 back and forth emails. So far generally it hasn't been an issue. There was one that went totally MIA after I asked which was kind of a let down because I was looking forward to it. I guess that is where this fear has stemed from. I really don't want to scare this one away.
RobM
I would think 2 weeks is enough time, I would want to meet as soon as possible so I didn't get too attached to someone online then find out later we didn't click in real life. I would just suggest a quick meet for coffee or something casual.
darkgray101
I could not think of any reason why you would not meet when you have the time. There is no perfect time. Grab every opportunity when you can. This is not about being too fast, its about being spontaneous. Find your date with no strings attached at http://nsalondon.com. Cheers! SincereOnlineGuy
...pretty bust ... Should I ask for her number first or just ask to meet up for coffee? Of course, given her stated qualifications! (lol)
marsle85
We live about 45 minutes away. Should I ask for her number first or just ask to meet up for coffee? Phone. Phone. Phone. You learn so much about the person on the phone- especially how they interpret your sense of language, humor, tone, etc. Plus, if you can get rid of the awkward phone tension early, it won't be as awkward in person. Man up, call her.
