xtina23 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Hello, my name is Christina im 23 years old and have never had a date. There have been many opportunities pass me by, but none of them ever went anywhere. I own a small business so my social life is pretty much non existant. I have always been career first, so unfortunatly I missed out on allot of expiriences. The shopping center where my store is located is currently being remodeled. One of the crew members just happened to catch my eye....ever since I cant stop thinking about him! The owner of the shop next to mine is the ex wife of this guys boss....I know, kind of wierd. She tells me this guy has been working for her Ex for years, and he recently went through a divorce 9 months ago. I guess his wife treated him horribly. She is now on a mission to hook me up with him, I was sort of unwilling because I am very shy, and have little expirience talking to men =(. She tells me he is a very sweet guy, and very shy and quiet himself. She writes down my phone number and hands it to her Ex to hand to this guy! I feel as though I am back in high school at this point. I still couldnt work up the courage to go up to him and introduce myself especially after he recieved my phone number randomly lol. So a few days go by and im in the back room where they are working and he comes up to me and asks "So are you the one?" I sort of start spilling words out of my mouth at this point....I say "Yessssssss, they gave you my number all because I only said you were really hot, cause you are..." Embarassing as it is, yes I said that. He just smiles really big and says "Aww well thank you" and we sort of go our seperate ways smiling. So the next day I notice he is no longer on the crew, naturally I ask why. I find out he was laid off due to the remodel almost being finished. His boss then gives me the guys phone number, he says I should text him cause he is really shy. So I do, and he never answers.... This was two days ago. I text him again last night and still no answer. I cant stop thinking about him...its very strange to me. I have never felt this way about someone, especially someone I just met. Can someone help me? I dont know if he is just really shy, or if he just isnt interested? What I dont understand is why he came up to me and talked to me if he wasnt. When we were talking for that split second something happened to where I cant get him out of my head. It is driving me insane! Should I wait it out and see if he calls?
