Nothing very eventful to speak of. Even though I think my mum is weird, everyone else seemed to think she was OK.

H. met my parents without my knowledge. He wanted to get my father's consent before proposing. Totally sweet. The three only had good things to say about each other.

The first time the two of us got together with my parents, my mother made him blush. It was too cute. She's pretty hot and utterly charming when she wants to be.

Introducing someone to the parents has never been an issue to me, but then again I am not too close with them.

Yes they do. Haven't had one proposal where the men haven't done it. :)

"Oh hi Mr. TBF, yea listen i accidentally knocked up your daughter. Please don't bring out the shotgun cause i'd like to ask you if i can marry her. I'll be a real good husband and father, i promise" :lmao:

Umm...nope. He talked to them in February and we discovered our pregnancy in October. Not impressive alpha, not impressive at all.

My old man died when I was younger, but I did once invite my girl to meet my mother. My mother doesn't really warm up to people right away -- tends to be a bit cool and somewhat aloof before befriending them. My ex couldn't deal with that, but truth to tell, my mother never did care for my ex. Their personalities were too different, and it didn't matter because we broke up eventually anyway.

I'm planning to get married later this year but my fiancee hasn't met my mother. A little nervous about it, but on the other hand, I really don't give a **** what my family thinks. I'm much more my own man at this point than I was a decade ago. I hope they like her but if they don't, well, they'll just get over it or not see me all that much.

What is the point of this thread Alpha? Are you just here to try to insult those who have successful relationships and have successfully introduced their SO's to their parents?

Its Saturday night. Why don't you go out and try to pick up something? Burger King is open.

This is one reason why I've started to remove myself from this site. It's full of jack-asses.
