janie423 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 A while back I posted a thread about an e-mail guy who gave me lame excuses for not e-mailing me anymore. Well, I went to high school with the guy and he is my facebook friend as well, and we never got physical, so even tho he stopped emailing me after two years, technically we are just friends. Anyway, his birthday is tomorrow and my mind is going in two directions: - if I don't wish him a happy e-birthday it looks like I'm a bad sport and don't want his friendship at all - if I do wish him a happy e-birthday I am not being true to my heart because I am angry at him for being so cheezy about ending the emailing (it also looks like I will tolerate bad behavior and still fall all over the guy) Which one makes more sense?
2sunny Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 if he's not communicating on a regular basis then there's no reason to acknowledge his birthday. if he wanted to include you in his daily life - he would communicate. no need to acknowledge something that isn't there...
stillafool Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Don't do it. Move on to someone or something else.
Krytie TV Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 If you do it tells everyone that you want his attention. Do you? If so, yes.
Lucky555 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 don't play the game with this guy. Sounds like he just wanted attention from you. Don't email him. It shows hey he didn't care about contacting you, why would you contact him. If the guy likes you or wants to talk to you, he will. (just my experience)
