I fell in love with a great girl over the past half a year, but I took her for granted. Now she likes a new guy, but won't be dating him yet because she doesn't feel is the right time. So at the end I told her what I had to say, and walked out. A few hours later she met up with a mutual friend, and told him that she knows it won't last long with this new guy, and that she consider giving us a week to try and see if her feelings would come back. When she walked out, I thought she was gone for good, but maybe she is starting to come around.

For now our week officially haven't started and we plan on hanging out quite often. I don't know if this is the right thing to do, knowing that I still have a chance, with a close to 0 probability.

NO NO NO NO NO...dear lord NO...don't fall for this crap...don't make someone your priority who only considers you an option...you deserve so much better than this...if she is able to "doubt" her feelings for you now and you let her back, then she'll be able to do this freely whenever she meets some new guy...giving you a week to "try"....? Such horsesh*t...pick up your balls and walk away, please...

She's basically telling you that she doesn't think the other meal is going to taste good so she'll stick you in the refridgerator for now until she feels like having you again. Why be someone's left overs when you can be a main course???

Tell her that it DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. It's all or nothing and then go complete NC.

This new guy she actually liked for a year before I came into the picture, and through out our relationship he has always been trying. I really think she just wants to try something fresh. And I actually told her to give it another try, which I shouldn't have, but I believe she is doing it to get rid of me. I don't know how I can even allow her to treat me like this, no matter what happens, at the end all I say is, I still got a chance to win her back.

BTW I see that you're from Brooklyn too Dusty, I live in Bensonhurst ;]
