It was so-so. I remember thinking 'why do people like this?' it was a stinging, followed by some fairly dry in and out. I was glad when it was over. Even though I was on BC (I had been put on it early because of severe menstrual problems) and he wore a condom I still spent the next month sick with worry that I was somehow pregnant. I realized early on the power of sex and used it to my advantage and often as I was growing up. I was in my thirties before I actually got any real pleasure from sex.

Most of my friends were older and more experienced than me, at least part of why I did it that first time was peer pressure; also he was significantly older and more experienced in life and good at manipulating me. It was painful and awful, and I never wanted to see him again after. He called me for a while after that but I STILL couldn't actually say no to him so I just dodged his calls. Clearly, I was not ready for sex. I dated around after that but never let things get that far again and was celibate for another two years; at 17 I fell in love and sex with that boyfriend was much better, we were together for 2 years.

Did it in his dad's truck one night when we snuck out to be together. It hurt like hell but I expected that, and after that it was pretty good with him. My parents were gone for the weekend and I asked her over. We had been dating for a little under a year, and I never pressured her to do anything. The first time was interesting but not in the way one would expect. My performance anxiety actually caused me to lose wood. That and I didn't like condoms. We ended up doing it for hours though, and for the next two years we'd bang like a pair of cymbals in an overworked marching band. She is to date the only girlfriend I've ever had (but certainly not the only sex partner), and I'd say that I loved her very much. Wouldn't want to do it again though. I can't say I'd take pleasure in taking someone else's virginity (or being a virgin) all over again.
