Meminger Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Background: Our very first visit just ended. We met online, talked for 8 months, fell completely in love. We live 1400 miles apart. He came on the 9th. He just left about 3 hours ago. Everything went so well. It was perfect and we had so much chemistry. We fit really well and the 10 days together were unfathomably amazing. Problem: I can't stop crying. Walking away from each other at the airport was almost too much to handle. We were both crying like crazy and simply couldn't stand leaving. Question: How do you guys do this!? It's so hard to leave after a visit...so so hard. Does it get easier? I don't imagine it does. We have already planned another visit. I'll be going there in 3 months, and having a plan does help a ton... But this is still so difficult. Any tips or advice?
Citizen Erased Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I had the same problem sweetie, I'd have to say it is fairly normal. It took 2 weeks before I could think of the things we did together, seeing him for the first and last time, without crying. Took my by surprise how devastated I was. The only thing I can say is if they're worth it, no matter how hard it is to leave, you will do it again and again if it means seeing each other.
