Not a new topic, just a new request for support, I guess. I moved 4 hours away from my family and friends to pursue this relationship, and I'm dang lonely. "D" wants and needs time and space away from me, to "clear his head" and I'm having soooo much alone time, it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to get out and meet people, but I'm pretty shy and this is very hard. He says, he doesn't want to break up, that he loves me, but give him s p a c e .....

Help me keep the faith and the strength.

Lots of people are going through the same sort of thing. Can you join a newcomer's club or some sort of craft club to keep you occupied?

KY...Hang in there. You are in a good position to get your relationship back if you stay strong and give him his space as asked. I know, I went through this with my ex and low and behold we are talking again, and thats a great feeling.

As far as being lonely...Do you have co-workers or mutual friends that you can still hang out with? Also, I mught suggest joining a gym or go to the "Y" and check out what kind of activities they have going on. Do not, and I repeat..Do not go out to the night life looking for new friends because you wont like what you find, but rather search in the less obvious places for things to do and you would be surprised at the number of people you can meet, even if your shy...they might be the ice breakers to start a conversation. And at the very least..You have all of us here at Loveshack to talk to anytime you feel alone, weak or vulnerable.
