Chitowngirl Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 So I met this guy who is really great to talk to, I'm attracted to him, and I feel wonderful around him. We spent 5 long dates in a row together, each lasting about 5-9 hours. No sexual intercourse. I did spend the night at his condo and he at mine. He was being secretive about some things, and I was putting the pieces together, and after I prodded him for awhile, he admitted he was married. He says he's been separated for 3 yrs, and that he and his wife live a block apart (across the country, his condo that I went to is on the East Coast). They're not intimate as she's 'into girls' now and isn't attracted to him. He said he doesnt want to divorce her b/c he loves her, not in love with her, and doesn't like the stigma of getting divorced for a 3rd time. He said, "what, like you'd want to be my 4th wife?" Typically I would never touch a married man, and I do believe in karma and would feel bad for the wife. But, he says she has a girlfriend and they don't live together. What would you do? (I don't have desires to get married or have children right now, 5 yrs from now is another story, though).
Chrome Barracuda Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Bull crap, your getting played i dont know what any sane man who has a gay wife would still be married to them. I know if it was me I'd be on the first thing smoking outta there. i wouldnt give a F*** how many kids we have. And i'd bang the baddest chick i could find, because it's not enough your wife doesne want you, she never wanted you or your love either because her whole life and your marriage and been a lie. He's been seperated for 3 yrs and cant seem to be divorced even though she's been with someone else. GTFO. that's a lie. Dont be naive!
CarrieT Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 What would you do? (I don't have desires to get married or have children right now, 5 yrs from now is another story, though). I would run. There is a reason he is still married and that makes him emotionally unavailable. Do you want to be the OW, regardless of what kind of marriage he has?
Woggle Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Please do not believe this. This is just a blatant lie.
norajane Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Even if he were telling the truth, which he's not, wtf is wrong with your common sense? Why would you want to get involved with a guy whose life is all messed up like that?
eraser Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 It's been said before, but he's lying about something. Maybe about everything. He is bad news.
carhill Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Tell him you'd love to visit him at 'his place' across the country a block from his lesbian wife. Since they're separated and she has no interest in him as a man, it shouldn't be a problem. The response oughta be interesting, one way or another...
LucreziaBorgia Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Ask him if you can call his wife and talk to her one-on-one about it, just to make sure everything is above board. Then pick up the phone at that moment and ask for her number. His response will be all the answer you need.
ADF Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Oh. My. God. This is THE lamest, most obvious lie I have ever heard a married man tell. I would bet any amount of money is laughing at you behind your back for being gullible enough to believe it. This guy is a player. Get away from him.
phineas Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Can I get his number? I wish to be his pupil. I wish to learn his ways for he truly is a master.
seibert253 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 OK, let's take a good look at this "great guy". He's a liar. He just "convienantly forgot" to mention he's married on all your dates. He's a cheater. Let's take the BS he's fed you at face value, and his wife is a lesbian. He's STILL MARRIED. If he's out "seeing" a woman other than his wife, he's cheating. Ohh, did I mention he's a liar. I really hope you're not buying the wife's a lesbian story. One sure way to find out, get her number and call her. If what he's saying is at face value, he should have no problem letting you speak with her. If he waffles, well then you have your answer.
Author Chitowngirl Posted April 19, 2010 Author Posted April 19, 2010 I told him to f off and contact me when he's single..so..thanks everyone.
