Engadget Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Is there a biological reason for why once the warm weather comes, the sexual tension in the air seems to ramp up exponentially? I notice it every spring, and the whole "love is in the air" saying of course.
alphamale Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 i think its because the chicks start wearing skimpier clothing which in turn affects the male libido
Bartender Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 i think its because the chicks start wearing skimpier clothing which in turn affects the male libido Yes, women like to lose clothing which makes me want to lose clothing, etc, etc, etc. I love this time of year:laugh:
eraser Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 We're animals, man. Animals typically breed in the spring.
Author Engadget Posted April 16, 2010 Author Posted April 16, 2010 i think its because the chicks start wearing skimpier clothing which in turn affects the male libido That's part of it, but it also affects women.
sagetalk Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 i think its because the chicks start wearing skimpier clothing which in turn affects the male libido Beat me to it, you'd have to be gay or blind for it not change your thinking a little .
USMCHokie Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Also factor in that people are a lot more likely to go out at night with the warmer weather, which will simply put people in more social situations, whether it be dating or hooking up after a night in the bars/clubs.
mrt336 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 The animal poster had it right. Spring is mating season, it's a chemical/hormonal thing.
Rorschach Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Ok fine, I'll be the romantic I think spring is just a beautiful time of year in general. Probably one of the best seasons, the weather is perfect, the flowers are blooming, trees bud, and the air is fresh. Springtime is just a happy time of year, and when people are happy love fourishes.
skydiveaddict Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I still say it's nothing but a myth. Nature's cruel joke played on the human male every year, nothing more
USMCHokie Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I still say it's nothing but a myth. Nature's cruel joke played on the human male every year, nothing more If that's the case, I'm going to just hide in my cave all spring until winter comes back...
skydiveaddict Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 If that's the case, I'm going to just hide in my cave all spring until winter comes back... Negative devil dog. While it is just a myth, the perception is there so take advantage of it.
