OldEurope Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Out of the blue and for the first time, I asked Hubby if I am good in bed. He smiled an enigmatic smile and said that I am "Intense." He then drifted into a bit of reverie and I let the magic moment fill the air..... My question to the distinguished gentlemen on this distinguished forum: just out of curiosity, What does "intense in bed" mean to you? Is this one of the higher compliments a woman might be paid by a man in matters sexuelles? Would this mean "passionate", "demanding", both or ...something else? I ask as this was the first time this particular description has been attributed to me, so I'm a tad intrigued... Will further analyze with the H, but wanted to hear from the team here.... xo OE
giotto Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 sounds like a compliment to me (passionate, ardent)... although I can see where you are coming from, since intense could be also interpreted as quite demanding? Unfortunately, we can't "try you out" for a first hand experience... Out of the blue and for the first time, I asked Hubby if I am good in bed. carhill Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Assuming sincerity, for myself it would describe a complex and charged aura; a focusing of passion and desire on the moment. Melding thought and emotion in a seamless, open, and unrestrained way. Letting 'it' out.
Lizzie60 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 methink for his own good.. he better tell you that you're intense..
JackJack Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Intense, to show great strength, an extreme emotion. I would think he means just what he says. There are people who mean what they say and not just because they think they better say it to get on ones good side. I would say its a compliment.
Author OldEurope Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 Thank you guys! (and gals!) for your responses. I love love, sexy love,...intensely .... OE
Married_and_Lonely Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 It means he didn't fall for the trap that guarantees no sex for the immediate future.
chrisp Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I think intense means just that.. I picture a kick ass roller coaster ride when that word comes to my mind. In bed this would be a very good thing.
xxoo Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 If you have to ask....you probably already know the answer Seriously, I doubt you need to ask. Can't you tell by his response? I don't mean his verbal response, although maybe his oral response
Fouts Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Intensity is a wonderful thing, it underscores attraction and enthusiasm, but as some of the other posters mentioned, only a part of the package. If that's the only way he can do describe, no, it's not really a good thing. If it's in concert with other attributes, yes, it's a great part of what you bring to the bedroom.

I don't mean his verbal response, although maybe his oral response ! :D I just love getting the male perspective of...the male perspective.... It was the word: "Intense" that threw me...no, didn't throw me, but it was not "you are lovely darling" or something marriage-ish. It was "intense"...but I am passionate about much in life....
