History has shown us & believe will continue to show us that the masculine cultures eventually overtake the feminized societies as they corrode themselves from within.
I'm not touching this statement with a ten foot pole beyond saying that from some I've seen on LS, I can't disagree. :lmao::laugh:

My grandfather was pretty much the the emotional measuring stick of the family. He frowned upon whining, excuses, being prone to "the vapors", or claiming inability in everyone. I never had a chance to recognize the qualities he admired to be stereotypical male qualities. He had a poor relationship with every family member other than myself and it was thought by my family that I mellowed him out. So I was often left with him. My cousin (male) was three months younger and did not measure up to my grandfather's standard. Likewise, neither did my brother when he grew to the age my grandfather thought suitable to be exposed to the skill set he wanted to pass to us. Hunting, fishing, camping, invention, art, auto care and construction. His children were 3 boys and 1 girl, his grandchildren too; 2 boys and 1 girl. All were given equal exposure to this skill set. We were given the same tools at the same ages with no respect to gender. First knife, rod and reel at 6; first gun at 12. Something was wrong with you if you had not gotten your first deer by age 16.

It wasn't till I was older did I learn he had some sexist attitudes about women. As adults, my brother was always encourage towards sports he had no interest in, while more and more he pushed me at art. And we all did excel in art, but the "damage" was done with me. :p I guess that is why I make no excuses for people on this subject and little tolerance for pigeon holing people based on gender.

Where have I said I have a specific view of the sexes? (NOT society's gender roles, but actually the sexes?)

This...."Gender roles tend to maintain an imbalance of power between men and women. Women can't afford to sit around and wait for men to see the value in equal opportunities"....denotes to me that you have a specific view of the sexes. There's a power imbalance and women can't sit around waiting for men to value equals. You've made a judgment and formed an expectation from it.

I'll touch it.

Well nature has shown us that all female groups often breed beyond their food supply and the result is starvation. But so far, we are not frogs. We are close to achieving female to female impregnation, but we are a species with the means to limit our reproduction rate.

I wouldn't call it corrosion though. Even if we evolved to an all female species, I would expect to still find the diversity of personality existing to the point of "masculine" personality types still existing even if the person who acts male is genetically female.

I've made a judgment on gender roles. Gender roles do NOT reflect the capacities of individuals. I don't know how to explain the difference any more clearly.

Again, I fail to see the difference between judging a gender and the individuals or gender roles within them. You still hold a specific view, you're still judging and you still have an expectation.
